A convenient preparation of α-bromoacrylate

向丙烯酸酯的四氢呋哺溶液中滴加溴生成混合的加成物2-溴-3-(4-溴丁氧基)丙酸甲酯,用三乙胺处理即得高产率的α-溴丙烯酸酯。

A simple and convenient method for preparation of α-bromoacrylate was reported.To a solution of acrylate inTHF at 0℃ bromine was added dropwise,the productformed,2-bromo-3-(4-bromobutoxy)propionate was thendissolved in ethanol and treated with triethylamine to give α-bromoacrylate with a yield of 89.3%.
