以培养高等技术应用型人才为根本任务的高职高专学校 ,高等数学的教学应注重应用性。通过培养兴趣———教给方法———指导提高自学能力的途径来培养学生的数学素质。

Higher Mathematics teaching should emphasize on practicality in Higher Vocational College, which aims at training high_technique practical talents. Meanwhile, it should make mathematics a useful tool in the students' future life by fostering their interest and self_studying capacity.
