ANUS-SAVING OPERATION WITH ARTIFICIAL RECTAL VALVE OR ARTIFICIAL INTERNAL SPHINCTER MUSCLE IN TREATMENT OF LOW RECTAL CANCER: A REPORT OF 41 CASES

采用人工直肠瓣和人工内括约肌之保肛术治疗低位直肠癌41例.采用游离的肠平滑肌片成形人工内括约肌,能长期存活,不会吸收或脱落,亦不形成疤痕组织,有一定的括约功能.人工直肠瓣似一个闸门能起到阻止粪便的作用.

Forty-one cases with low rectal cancer received anus-saving operation, using arti-ficial valve or artificial internal sphincter muscle. Free intestinal smooth muscle slices are used asthe artificial internal sphincter muscle, which can survive for a long time , cannot be absorbed orexfoliated, and do not form scar tissues. Such artificial sphincter possesses quite efficient sphincterfunction. On the other hand, the artificial rectal valve acts like a gate, blocking the stool.
