An Approach for Web Service Matchmaking Based on DAML-S

摘要 服务匹配是Web服务发现中一个很重要的部分,针对目前服务发现方法的不足,提出了一种基于DAML S的Web服务匹配方法,其核心思想是用DAML S进行服务描述并将其发布后,通过对服务描述中的输入输出和用户需求中功能的测度来判断服务与用户需求的匹配程度. Web service matchmaking is an important aspect of web service discovery. The main shortcoming of industry standard such as UDDI to publish and discover web service in internet is that they do not allow much flexibility and expressiveness in the service descriptions. An approach for web service matchmaking based on DAML-S is proposed, in which web services are described by DAML-S and be advertised, and then a matchmaking degree is measured between input/outputs of web service description and capability of users' requirements.
