新时期培养学生勤俭意识的思考

Reflections on Cultivating the Youth's Sense of Industriousness and Thriftiness

中华民族素以勤俭朴实著称于世 ,克勤克俭是我国劳动人民的优良传统。但随着我国人民的生活水平的提高 ,受享乐主义等思潮的影响 ,表现在一些年轻人中间 ,追求高消费、不顾及家庭的经济条件盲目攀比、铺张浪费等现象也比比皆是。认为勤俭过时了 ;勤俭不仅是思想品德问题也是人生观价值观问题 ,在新的历史发展时期 ,青年学生尤其不能忘记艰苦奋斗精神 。

The Chinese nation has been famous for the virtues of thriftiness and industriousness since ancient times. But nowadays with the development of people's living condition, more and more young people have been influenced by hedonism, seeking the high consumption without considering their own economic situation. They try their best to keep up with the Jones, thinking it outdated to be hardworking and thrifty, which is not true at all. In the modern times it should even be more important for the youths to have the sense of industriousness and thriftiness, which should be considered as part of their personal quality and social values.
