Reflecting on Certain Issues in China's Higher Education

科学发展观提示我们,在高等教育发展中必须牢牢地树立这一发展观,这是我们高等教育实现可持续发展的关键,而在现实当中,却存在着诸如大学发展的趋同性问题、人力资源的紧缺与浪费的矛盾问题、教育价值观问题、学术权利与行政权利矛盾问题等,这些都是与科学的教育发展观相悖的,应该引起人们更加深入地思考。

The viewpoint of scientific development, which must be adhered to in the development of higher education, is key to ensuring a sustainable development. However, there remains such problems as the convergence of university development, the shortage and waste of human resources, different values of education, and the conflict between the academic and administrative power. Contradictory to the scientific development viewpoint of education, these problems need to be tackled in a serious manner.
