中美关系正常化是毛泽东不断努力的结果,其间经历了一个曲折的过程。其对美的外交战具有丰富的内涵,也蕴含了深刻的哲学思想,既有宏大的世界观又有灵活的方法论。通过对毛泽东谋求中美关系正常化的整体战略思想研究,有助于加深理解以毛泽东为核心的第一代中共领导人在险恶的国际环境中重视和谋划图谋中华民族的生存、拓展外交空间、提升中国国际地位的战略决策。同时也表明中国对美国外交战略的实施应具有哲学思维,应有自己的外交哲学。

The normalization of Sino-American relations was the result of Mao Zedong's continuous efforts, undergoing a zigzag process. Mao's diplomatic strategy towards America has the grand view of the world and the theory of flexibility. It also embodies Mao's rich contents and profound philosophic thought. This paper attempts to enhance the understanding of the strategic decisions, made by the first generation of leading group with Mao as the core, to make China survive the dangerous world surroundings, widen her diplomatic room and upgrade her international position. It indicates that the implementation of Sino-American diplomatic strategy should be based on philosophic thoughts, and should have its own diplomatic philosophy.
