Go along with Life: On History of Western Prose y in the 1990's

歌吟生命是西部20世纪90年代散文最重要的一脉。冯秋子、刘亮程、柏原和张子选等作家的散文创作,都试图以自己的方式揭开遮蔽生命存在的文明面纱,逼近西部生命乃至所有生命的本真状态,在返身自然、复归生命本体的精神追求中,表现出了敬畏生命、珍爱生命的仁慈态度和莫大的悲悯情怀。他们的散文体式也随之从传统散文叙事模式中突围出来,有了全新的散文艺术生命形态。

Praising life is the most important part of prose writing in the 1990's. Many writers, such as Feng Qiu-zi, Liu Liang-cheng, Bo Yuan and Zhang Zi-xuan tried to discover the true reality of life under the western civilization in their own way and indicate the strong feeling of loving life and admiring life. Their style of prose had a breakthrough from the traditional mode of prose narration and had a new form of artistic life in prose writing.
