OCS system in outpatient department is physician's order communication system, which is an important part of HIS. Based on the application of OCS system in outpatient department in our hospital, among others, the article introduces some new ideas, new technologies and solution schemes to common problems in designing OCS system in outpatient department, focusing on several important functional platform such as registration section, physician's workstation and pharmacy.
