In the beginning,this paper has an introduction of the urban agglomeration definition and theories of its generation process.And the paper's special focus is on the introduction of the urban agglomeration's generation,development,current situation and features in the Pearl River Delta.Based on the above-mentioned analysis,the paper ends by pointing out the problem that should be under consideration in the further development of the urban agglomeration in the Pearl River Delta.
