While it is extensively believed that the beginning of the contemporary science is marked by Copernicus' On the Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres, Vesalius' De Humani Corporis Fabrica, Harvey's On the Motion of the Heart and Blood in Animals, Galileo's neo-physics, Newton's dynamics, mechanical nature, and experimental mathematical methodologies, the writer of this paper argues for the close relationship between all this and the Italian universities.
