The applications of refractory ceramics to the filtractior technique of molten metal, at home and abroad, are reviewed. According to the need of industrial development, filters made from refractory ceramics for filtering eating alloy are developed and come into use. Analyses and research results show that there are broad prospects for refractory ceramics to be served as the fitratior medium of molten metal.
