Orimulsion reserves in Venezuela are about 46.9 billion tons and a cooperative agreement to produce and supply 6.5 million tons of Orimulsion to China has been signed between the governments of China and Venezuela. Features of Orimulsion and its utilization in the world and in China are introduced. Environmental problems caused by Orimulsion combustion and treatment procedures are analyzed.
