摘要 通过大量的资料分析和调查研究指出,网格是科学家针对当今的一些科学难题于20世纪90年代初提出的概念,它将分布在不同地理位置的计算资源包括CPU、存储器、数据库等,通过高速的互联网组成充分共享的资源集成,从而提供一种高性能计算、管理及服务的资源能力;在不久的将来,网格很可能像今天的Internet一样占据人们的生活,而成为继Internet和Web之后正在到来的第三大浪潮;与空间位置有关的空间信息在信息总量中约占80%,社会发展和国民经济的持续发展必然对空间信息资源有空前巨大的需求;网格技术为空间信息获取与处理提供了新的技术途径,在空间信息科学领域具有非常广阔的应用前景。 The grid is the new concept that the scientists put forward at the early in the 1990s to some current scientific difficult problems. It will distribute and include CPU, memory and database in different geographic positions, integrate through high-speed Internet resource shared fully to make up, offer one high performance calculation, and manage resource ability that serves. It will most likely occupy your lives like Internet of today in the near future, and become the third largest tide coming following Internet and Web. The statistics shows, the spatial information related to spatial position accounts for 80% in the total amount of information, social development and sustainable development of national economy must have unprecedented enormous demands to the spatial information resources. Grid technology has offered the new technological way for the thing that spatial information is obtained and dealt with, have a very wide application prospect in the field of spatial information science.
