初探我国市镇规模级别标准

On the Standard of China's Town Scale

上世纪50年代制定并沿用至今的市镇规模级别标准已不适应当今的国情,因而要调整现行市镇规模级别标准。为了适应目前我国国情,有利于国家行政管理,在此提出新的市镇规模级别标准。因此,可考虑将全国市镇规模划分为8个等级(即城市规模划分为5个等级和镇规模划分为3个等级),并与其相应的行政级别挂钩。

The scale class of towns established in the 50s last century and used till now does not suit the present national conditions,soitshould be adjusted.This paper brings up a new scale of towns.For the administration convenience's sake,it divides the national towns in to seven scale classes based on the population quantity of towns and that of non-agriculture population.
