The colleges in Guangxi applied the theory of participatory development and setup an interactive system for the evaluation of laboratories. This system must follow the basic principles below: holding identical objective; making joint development; equality between the roles; initiative participation; scientific standard and sharing information. These principles are the guarantee for the effective operation of the system. The system effectively promoted the evaluation of laboratories in colleges, especially in the poorly developed areas, and is very helpful for the construction and effective management of laboratories.
