The San Jiao Tong Sheng was a guqin (Chinese sitar) music collection, which collected the guqin music pieces from three religions of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, compiled by Zhang Dexin in Ming dynasty. To block-printed those pieces were the inevitable outcome of ethos and public morals in the later Ming dynasty. The San Jiao Tong Sheng was coherent to the thoughts of that three religions: Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism share the same reason, and also accord with the exist situation of sacred music in Ming dynasty.
