According to the Stokes settlement law and the DLVO theory, the paper analyzed the cause difficult to settling and the existing problems of the settling technology for the slime slurry. According to the features of the slime slurry, the paper provided the agglomeration and flocculation settling method for the slime slurry. The method has obtained obvious results in the practices.
