QoS Guarantee in Broadband Access Network

针对宽带接入网络中的高速率、高质量、安全性要求,引入了服务质量(QoS)保证技术。介绍了QoS的基本概念及相应规范,阐述了QoS在异步传输模式(ATM)中的实现机制、服务级别、技术参数的定义和表示计算方法,以及QoS在IP应用中的基本模型特征、实现机制和参数设置要求等,结合实例说明了宽带接入网络中QoS保证的应用。最后进行分析和阐述。

QoS guarantee technology is introduced in connection with the requirements for high speed, high quality and security in broadband access network. This article introduces the elementary concept of QoS and its related specifications, describes the mechanism of realizing QoS in ATM, its class of service, definition of technical parameters and the counting rules. This article also presents the basic model of QoS in IP application, its implementation mechanism, parameter setting requirements etc. In conjunction with case study, this article presents the application of QoS guarantee technology in broadband access network. Finally, the trend of QoS development in broadband access network is elaborated and analyzed.
