The advances of study on the plant-based pesticides and the insecticidal plant type, the acting way andeffective component of some insecticidal plants are introduced , of which includes more than 10 families such asMeliaceae, Celastraeae, Leguminosae, Compositae, Piperaceae, Stemonaceae, Thymelaeaceae etc. The prospect ofapplications and development of insecticidal plant is involved in the present work.
