胶质瘤中整合素β_1的表达及其生物学意义

Expression of Integrin-β_1 in Gliomas and Its Biological Significance

背景与目的:整合素是一类重要的跨膜受体,在肿瘤的发生、发展过程中,其表达的改变对肿瘤细胞增殖、浸润等可产生的影响。本文探讨胶质瘤中整合素β_1的表达及其生物学意义。方法:用免疫组化方法检测45例胶质瘤、5例正常组织中整合素β+1及 Ki-67的表达。结果:整合素β_1在Ⅰ、Ⅱ级及Ⅲ、Ⅳ级胶质瘤中的阳性率分别为42.11%及73.08%,有显著性差异(P<0.05);整合素β_1的表达与 Ki-67标记指数具有正相关关系。结论:整合素β_1参与胶质瘤的增殖调控,随着整合素β_1表达的增高,肿瘤细胞的增殖活性升高,恶性程度增加;并与胶质瘤的侵袭性生物学行为有关。

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE:Integrins are a group of transmembrane receptor that play an important role on tumor development and progression.The expressive change of integfin can affect the proliferational and invasive activity of cancer cell.In this paper,the expression of integrin-β_1 and its biological significance in gliomas are investigated.METHODS:PV two-step assay was used to determine the expression of integfin-β_1 and Ki-67 nuclear antigen in gliomas(45cases),and normal brain tissues(5 cases).RESULTS:The expression level of integrin -β_1 was significantly higher in gliomas of grade Ⅲ～Ⅳ than in that of grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ.Moreover,the expression of integrin-β_1 was associated with Ki-67 labeling index.CONCLUSION:Integrin-β_1 participates the process of regulating growth of gliomas.The proliferation activity and malignant grade of gliomas correlates to increased expression of integrin-β_1.More- over,the expression of integrin-β_1 is associated with the invasive biological behavior in gliomas.
