A QoS Routing Algorithm for Optimizing Network Resource Utilization

在网络中实施资源优化利用对保证QoS服务质量非常重要。该文根据网络的实际运作情况,引入了“网络负载平衡度”的概念,用来描述网络中各链路上的剩余带宽可用率相对于其平均值的偏离程度,并据此改进了传统的SPF路由算法。新改进的算法采用负载平衡策略和重路由策略使网络资源得到优化利用。理论分析表明该算法较好地使网络负载趋于平衡,可以增加网络吞吐量,延缓阻塞的发生。

Optimizing network resource utilization is very important for network quality of service guarantees .A parameter named network load-balanced degree is defined that can be used to present the deviation to the average utilization of the residual bandwidths on each link in the network.Based on this parameter and traditional SPF algorithm,a new QoS routing algorithm is proposed.The algorithm optimizes network resource utilization with the measures of network load-balanced degree and traffic rerouting.The advantages of the algorithm over the traditional SPF routing algorithm are explained in detail.
