This paper elaborates why the steel structure buildings are rife in the construction and re-construction of today's small and medium-sized flour mills, and points out that this trend will surely boost the speed of scale extension and integralization of China's flour industry, and advantages of the flour mill such as less investment and quicker effectiveness can be reflected under the condition of the serious unbalance of our economic development at the present stage.
