摘要
带宽是网络的一个重要性能指标。由于实际网络环境的复杂性造成了链路带宽测量的艰难。论文比较了现有的链路带宽测量的一些算法,分析了这些算法的基本思想和不足,特别讨论了PacketTailgating算法的一个有疑问假设,并简要叙述了未来的研究方向。
Bandwidth is an important ability and target for network.But because of the complicacy of realistic network condition,it is very difficult to measure link bandwidth.This paper introduces several popular algorithms of measuring bandwidth and divides them into two classes,analyses the basic idea and shortage,especially discusses a doubtful assumption about algorithms of Packet Tailgating,and the future research is discussed.
