Space-time block codes (STBC) are powerful techniques to achieve full spatial diversity in Rayleigh fading channels with low decoding complexity. The ML decoder of the STBC needs the CSI(channel state information), here we adopt the method of pilot-assist channel estimation. In this paper, we investigate the performance of the downlink transmission of an Alamouti space-time block coded CDMA system.
