This article provides an overview of biogeochemistry of mollusca from Huaihe river and its application for water pollution control. It is not only intended as a litany of environmental disasters, thought some disastrous situation are described; but also is it intended to control the organic pollutants, especially toxic pollutants.The biogeochemistry of Mollusca is powerful and useful tool for the warning and remediation of ecological pollution in Huaihe river watershed.
