An Explorative Discussion of Target Text Construction From the Perspective of Cognitive Context and Relevance

首先 ,从语境性及关联性的角度 ,解析了翻译文本的建构问题 ,并分析了语境认知及关联性对翻译文本的影响。其次 ,在认知的理据上论述了乔姆斯基的语言的表层结构和深层结构理论与翻译的关系。提出 :在翻译实践中 ,要注重语句的深层结构分析 ,通过认知及关联推导 。

The construction of Target Text (TT) is interpreted in terms of cognitive context and relevance and their effects on translation are analyzed. The applicability of Chomsky’s theory on surface structure and deep structure to TT construction is discussed. It is concluded that surface structure and deep structure should be weighed in light of cognitive context and relevance inference.
