By studying and analyzing concepts such as 'Tai Yi', 'Shen Ming' and 'Shui' from Tai Yi Sheng Shui ( The Grand Unity Generates Water ) and comparing the text with literatures from Zhanguo period such as Huang Di Si Jing and Wen Zi, this thesis disputes the theories that Tai Yi Sheng Shui was written in the Zhanguo period 'between Confucius and Mencius' 'by Guan Yin' or 'by Lao Tzu' and demonstrates that Tai Yi Sheng Shui was a Huang-Lao Taoists text written in the late-Zhanguo period.
