On LI Xian-kun's Thoughts of Logic of Language

李先焜先生在语言逻辑研究方面的主要学术观点有四个:(一)逻辑的研究对象是语言;(二)语言逻辑就是自然语言的指号学;(三)定义是明确词义的逻辑方法;(四)修辞具有重要的逻辑功能。李先生的这些学术观点具有创见性,对推动我国语言逻辑研究的发展有重要意义。

This thesis studies professor Li Xian-kun's thoughts of logic of language, and concludes his main viewpoints as follows: (1) The object of logic is language. (2) The logic of language is the semiotics of natural language. (3) Definition is one method of logic of defining the meaning of a word. (4) Rhetoric has important logical function. It is proved today that Li's these points of view, which putting forward ten years age and having been sufficiently proofed were original ideas. So we can say that Li's study of logic of language has important meaning to the information science, because the understanding of natural language is the key problem of artificial intellect.
