摘要
本文在比较了《永宁纳西族的母系制》与ASocietywithoutFathersorHusbands:TheNaofChina两书中关于纳人共居的事实材料及结论之后,认为前者在先入为见的进化论支配下,影响了对纳人事实的判断和推论;后者在深描的基础上,通过严密的逻辑论证对亲属制度的研究作出根本性的贡献。
A comparison of Na people′s cohabitation in 'Matriarchal Society of Naxi People in Yongning' and 'A Society without Fathers or Husbands: The Na of China' reveals that the former, with the preconceived idea of evolution firmly entrenched in his mind, did not draw a correct conclusion while the latter made outstanding contributions to the study of clan system based on in-depth description and unassailable logic.
