当今,许多国家都在为致力于本国实现基础教育的均衡发展而努力。美国作为目前世界上基础教育最为发达的国家之一,在这方面也积累了许多有益的经验。中美两国虽然在政治体制、经济发展水平以及教育体制方面都存在着很大的差异,但由于两国在基础教育领域都存在着种种不均衡的表现,因此努力实现本国基础教育的均衡发展就成为两国不约而同的追求。美国在这方面积累的诸多成功的经验,对于我国当前基础教育均衡发展战略的实施无疑有着许多积极的借鉴价值。

Presently,balanced development of basic education is a common goal to most of countries. America is one of the countries that have the highest level basic education in the world. It has accumulated a great deal of beneficial experience. Though,China and America have the different political system,the level of economic development and educational system,due to have a lot of unbalanced phenomena in the two countries,so it is a common objective for them to realize balanced development of basic education. Most of successful experience in America will help to put in practice for realizing balanced development of basic education in China.
