FX administration policy adjustment after the liberation of foreign trade operation

新外贸法全面放开了外贸经营权,这将使外贸主体进一步多元化,从而使外汇收支的规模大幅增加,对现行的外汇管理模式提出了挑战。对此,外汇管理已进行了相应调整,但今后还需要进一步的改革,如放松对私营企业和个人与外贸有关的资本项目管理,加强对非居民管理,完善市场、法律和电子化手段等。

China's new Foreign Trade Law has fully liberalized the operation of foreign trade,thus further diversifying the players in foreign trade and considerably expanding the size of FX income and expense.Facing the challenges to the existing mode of FX administration,China has adjusted some policies in FX administration.However,further reforms are necessary,for instance,relaxing management on foreign trade-related capital accounts of private enterprises and individuals,strengthening the management of non-residents,and improving the market,laws,and electronic approaches to management.
