The power auto switching principle of public 400 V P/C bus for No.1 generating unit of the Power Plant of Bao Steel Co. Ltd. Was analyzed. The failure causes of the power auto switching of the bus were pointed out and the improving opinions for the switching principle were put forward. Through improvement, the reliability of the bus auto switching was increased, and at the same time the general principle of the power switching of the bus was discussed.
