On the Essential Economic Law of the Civilized Age

在奴隶社会里,物质资料的生产和分配依然遵循使用价值规律发展。与原始社会不同的是,它不是身在循着一般产品的使用价值,而是循着一种特殊物品的使用价值——奴隶的使用价值而发展。奴隶将其劳动力剩余部分所创造的财富全部无偿地献给奴隶主。所以,奴隶社会的基本经济规律,就是以使用价值规律为基础的剩余劳动力的使用价值,即剩余劳动规律。

In the Civilized Age,or in the Slavish Society, the Law of the Use of Value is still followed by human beings both in production of goods and in thc allocation of the products.But the nature of the law in the Slavish Society is different fiom that in the Primeval Society.It is build upon the use of the surplus labor of the slaves,not upon the utility of the goods maaufactured.The slaveholders almost possesses all the surplus value produced by the slaves.So we think that the essential law of the Slave Society is the Use of Value of Surplus Slaves' Labor.Which is likewise based on the Law of Use of Value.
