延安精神是我党的优良传统和宝贵财富。在新世纪新阶段 ,弘扬延安精神对加强和改进党的作风建设具有重要的现实意义。加强和改进党的作风建设 ,必须坚持以马克思主义为指导 ,以“三个代表”重要思想为根本指针 ;必须坚持党的思想路线 ,解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进、开拓创新 ;必须牢记党的宗旨 ,始终保持党同人民群众的血肉联系 ;

Yan’an spirit is our Party’s fine tradition and treasure wealth. In the new historical phase and the new century, it is of great realistic significance to carry forward Yan’an spirit and strengthen and improve the construction of the Party’s style. To strengthen and improve the construction of the Party’s style, we must maintain Marxism as the guiding line and the key thought of “the three representatives” as the fundamental theory. We must maintain the Party’s ideological line so as to set free our minds, seek truth from facts, keep up with the pace of time and develop innovations by exploring the new. We must keep in mind the Party’s aim and always maintain the flesh-and-blood ties between the Party and the masses of the people. And we must maintain and carry out the pioneering spirit of hard struggle and simple living.
