This paper deals with the species of genus Oxycoryphe Kriechbaumer from China. A new species, Oxycoryphe caudicula sp. nov., is described and illustrated based on the material from Yunnan Province. This wasp is the first species of Oxycoryphe described from the mainland of China. The other two species, Oxycoryphe maculipennis (Masi) and Oxycoryphe edentata Narendran, are from Taiwan Island. The key to these species is given. The type specimen is deposited in Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. Appendix: Brief descriptions of new taxa Oxycoryphe caudicula Liu, sp. nov.Female: Length: 8.5 mm, black; eyes yellowish brown; radiculae, tegulae, apex of fore femur, base and apex of hind femur rufous; fore and mid tibia brownish yellow; wings hyaline but infumated; pubescences brown on wings, silvery on head and legs, golden on thorax and gaster. Head about 1.8 times as broad as long in dorsal view; preorbital carinae and postorbital carinae well developed, running up to vertex; labium concave on middle area; OOL∶POL about 9∶22. Antenna not clavate; widths of all funicle segments almost same, funicleⅠabout 1.5 times as long as broad, other funicle segments about 1.2 times as long as broad, club tapering; relative lengths of segments: scape 32, pedicel 3.5, ring segment 1, funicle Ⅰ 10, funicle Ⅱ 8, funicle Ⅲ 8 and club 12. Thorax with a distinct short median carina on pronotum, puncta close and interstices rugose; scutellum distinctly elongate, about 1.4 times as long as broad, apex of scutellum weakly emarginate; propodeum with prominent lateral teeth behind spiracles, submedian, accessorial, sublateral and lateral carinae distinct. Relative lengths of forewing veins: submarginal vein 56, parastigma vein 8, marginal vein 13, post marginal vein 18, stigmal vein 5. Hind femur about (2.5) times as long as broad, with a comb of small teeth from base to 2/3 apex on ventral margin. Gaster 1.6 times longer than thorax; first tergite smooth, hind margin straight, in median line as long as 5 following tergites combined, basal carinae as long as space between them; epipygium only half as long as 6 tergites combined.Distribution: China (Yunnan).Holotype: ♀, Mengla, Jinping, Yunnan Province, 1956.Ⅳ.21, HUANG Keren.This new species resembles O.scutellatus Narendran, but differs from the latter in having: (1) propodeum with prominent lateral teeth; (2) apex of scutellum weakly emarginate, without distinct bidentate; (3) gaster 1.6 times longer than thorax, not 1.2 times; epipygium only half as long as 6 tergites combined, not three fourths.
