摘要
目的 :探讨固定正畸对儿童牙周健康的影响。方法 :随机选择 2 0例 11～ 15岁错合畸形儿童 ,分别于矫治前和矫治 6个月对其进行临床牙周指标检查和龈下细菌的检测。结果 :接受固定正畸治疗的儿童菌斑指数、牙龈指数、牙龈探诊出血、探诊深度显著增高 ,龈下菌群发生变化 ,G-杆菌比例显著增加 ,G+ 细菌比例下降。结论 :接受固定矫治的儿童牙周组织的健康受到影响 ,应加强口腔卫生宣教 ,减少牙龈炎的发生和发展。
AIM:To study the influence of fixed orthodont ic appliances on periodontal status in children.METHODS:Twent y patients aged 11～15-year-old with maloccusion were randomly selected.Plaque i n dex(PLI),gingival index(GI),bleeding on probing(BOP),probingdepth(PD) and subg ingival plaque were examined and compared,before the treatment and six months af ter the placement of the orthodontic brackets and bands.RESULTS: After the insertion of the orthodontic brackets and bands,the values of PLI,G I,BOP,PD were significantly increased.The subgingival plaque showed significantl y shifts on the composition of bacteria,the percentage of Gram-negative bacilliincreased;contratrily,a decrease in Gram-positive bacteria was noted.CO NCLUSION:Orthodontics with fixed appliance can affect the periodontalhealth.Therefore,reinforced oral hygiene measure would be helpful in reducing th e risk of gingivitis.
