表皮生长因子受体在鼻咽癌中的表达及意义

Clinical pathological significance of the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor in nasopharyngeal carcinoma

目的探讨表皮生长因子受体与细胞增殖、转化的关系。方法采用免疫组化ABC法检测24例正常鼻咽黏膜上皮及60例鼻咽癌组织表皮生长因子受体的表达情况。结果表皮生长因子受体在鼻咽癌组织中呈异质性表达,其阳性率明显高于正常黏膜组织(P<0.05),且表达情况与颈淋巴结转移及预后存在相关性。结论表皮生长因子受体在鼻咽癌组织中的表达水平可作为评估鼻咽癌细胞增殖状态、颈淋巴结转移情况及病人预后的一项参考指标。

Objective To explore the relationship between epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and cell proliferation and transformation. Methods In this study, EGFR expression was examined in 24 Specimens of human nomal nasopharynx mucosa and 60 Specimens of nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. Results EGFR expression in nasopharyngeal Carcinoma was heterogareous. The EGFR Positive ration (55%) was higher than that of normal nasopharynx mucosa (0%) (P< 0.05 ), statistically significant correlation was observed between EGFR and positive expression and the presence of regional lymph node metastasis and the patients had poor prognosis. Conclussion The EGFR expression in nasopharyngeal Carcinoma was a significant predicting factor for proliferative status of the Carcinomal Cell, presence or not presence of regional lymph node metastasis and prognosis of the patients.
