Detection of hepatocyte nuclear factor-1beta gene exon2 in diabetes mellitus nephron patients of the Han nationality in Henan

目的 :探讨河南省汉族人群中家族性糖尿病肾病与肝细胞核因子 - 1β(HNF - 1β)基因exon2是否关联。方法 :运用聚合酶链反应 -单链构象多态性技术 (PCR -SSCP)检测 2型糖尿病患者 6 2例 ,健康献血者 82例 ,11个糖尿病家系中 5 6例糖尿病肾病患者的HNF - 1β基因exon2片段。 结果 :糖尿病肾病患者、2型糖尿病患者、健康献血者均未发现有HNF - 1β基因exon2异常条带。 结论 :HNF -

Aim: To investigate whether pedigreed diabetes mellitus nephron (DN) in the Han nationality in Henan is associated with hepatocyte nuclear factor-1beta (HNF-1β) gene exon2. Methods:A total of 56 pedigreed members were collected. 62 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and 82 healthy were collected as controls. HNF-1β gene exon2 from all subjects were examined by polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism(PCR-SSCP).Results: No mutation was found to HNF-1β gene exon2 in 56 pedigreed members, 62 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and 82 healthy controls. Conclusion: HNF-1β gene exon2 should not be an important fragment causing DN in the Han nationality in Henan.
