The Present Situation and the Development of Literature Classification

分析了目前在计算机编目条件下文献分类标引工作的新特点,并对文献分类工作的发展方向进行了探讨,指出文献分类排架应向粗排架方向发展,在标引执行环境上应向社会化、规范化方向发展,在标引工具上应向粗排架标引、细检索标引、主题法标引一体化方向发展。

This paper analyzes the new features of current literature classification under the condition of the computer-based cataloguing, probes into the developing direction of the literature classification, and points out that the literature classification arrangement should develop along the direction of rough arrangement, in the indexing execution environment should develop along the direction of socialization and normalization, and in the indexing tools should develop along the direction of the integration of the rough arrangement indexing, the fine retrieval indexing and the subject method indexing.
