The Development of Chinese Insurance Business after WTO Entry

介绍了中国保险业发展现状,阐述了“入世”后随着更多外资保险公司进入中国,中国保险业所面临的机遇和挑战,提出了中国保险企业所应采取的经营策略,指出作为世贸组织的成员国,中国必须履行入世时的承诺,遵守《服务贸易总协定》的规定,深化内部改革,并积极向国外保险业学习,应对入世给中国保险业带来的挑战。

This paper introduces the developing situation of Chinese insurance business, expounds the opportunities and challenges faced by Chinese insurance business along with more foreign insurance companies entering China after WTO entry, and points out that being the member of the WTO, China is obliged to meet its promises made at the time of attending the WTO, and to abide by <GATS>, needs to deepen the inner reform and learn from the foreign insurance enterprises, and receive the challenges brought about by the WTO entry to Chinese insurance business.
