Repairing the pits and holes on the road surface with the cold-laid asphalt mixture is a convenient and rapid method. In order to guarantee the porosity and compactness of the road surface, the preparing method of the cold-laid asphalt is much different from the hot-laid asphalt mixture in aspects of the viscosity and consumption of the asphalt, additives, and graded aggregate mixtures, etc. And the practice shows that the developed cold-laid mixture has good performances and its cost is reduced greatly compared with the same kind of imported materials.
