Another Round Strategy Adjusting of Global TV Makers and Its Influence

摘要 本文分析了由于以中国为首的发展中国家CRT及CRT彩电产业稳定成长,中国大陆生产的CRT彩电大规模进入欧美市场,使日本企业在当地市场的竞争中溃不成军。很多日本电视厂家认为,日本企业只有用LCD、PDP等平板电视才能夺回被中国厂家抢去的欧美彩电市场。所以NEC、三菱电机、日立等日本传统CRT企业在日本本土和海外的CRT生产基地相继关闭,并纷纷成为FPD彩电的生产或研制基地;不仅LCD、PDP屏,包括其技术和设备正在不断地移往全球发达国家和市场。日本彩电厂商的战略大转移正在对全球电视机产业产生显著的影响。 Due to a steady growing of CRTs and CRT TVs industry in developing countries sepecially in China. the CRT TVs made in China have abtained the significant market-shares in Europe and American TV market. On the other hand, Japanese TV makers' CRT TVs lose the market competition more and more in developed countries. So many Japanese TV makers believe that FPD TV, such as PDP TV and LCD TV is the only way to recapture the Europe and U.S. TV markets from the Chinese TV manufacturers. Now, some traditional CRT TV makers in Japan, including NEC,Mitsubishi,Hitachi are adjusting their global strategy. Their CRT domestic and overseas manufacturing bases have been closed one by one and are becoming manufacturing or research centers for FPD TVs. In addition, not only LCD and PDP panels but also FPD technology and equipments are transferred to developed countries. As a conclusion of this article, it is clear that significant strategy adjustment of Japanese TV makers will have a great effect on the global TV industry and CRT industry.
