Whoop and Narration: Modern Chinese Epic Poetry in 1930s

在 2 0世纪中国文学发展过程中 ,叙事诗创作形态的出现及成长 ,是现代文化背景下中西文学碰撞与对话中形成的具有现代性的文学类型之一。本文通过对 3 0年代叙事诗创作形态的描述 ,和它的文学成长经验与审美要求的历史考察分析 ,期望发现并探索叙事诗文体类型在现代文学整体中的演变及意义 ,以及对中国现代诗学文体形式核心骨架形成与发展的作用 。

As a modern literary genre rooted in the collision and interflow between Chinese literature and western literature, epic poetry appeared and progressed with the development of 20 th century's Chinese literature, and modern culture as its background. By describing the forms of epic poetry of 1930s and investigating into its literary growth experience and aesthetic request, this paper intends to explore the evolution and the significance of epic poetry style in the context of the modern Chinese literature as a whole, and its effect upon the formation and the development of the framework of modern Chinese poetic style. Thereby, modern Chinese literary study is to be established on the narrative basis of the concrete history of literary style.
