摘要
语言是表达思想的工具 ,而修辞是语言表达的艺术。在英语听力测试中 ,修辞手法的运用增加了听力理解的难度。本文主要论述了如何通过正确理解修辞的方法来提高英语听力水平。
Language is the tool of expression and rhetoric is the art of expression.However,the using of figures of speech adds difficulties to the listening comprehension in English tests.The paper tries to expound how good understanding of rhetoric can improve students’listening skills in English study.
