电子信息及其物质载体分属于不同的物证,具有各自独立的证据地位;“电子物证”及“电子物证检验”一词也是不太科学的称谓,其内涵需要严格界定;电子证据的检验与鉴定有其独特的方法与对象,电子证据检验应独立于传统物证检验领域之外而自成体系。

Electronic information and its physical carriers belong to different kinds of evidences and possess the independent status of evidence; The terms of 'electronic physical evidence and 'inspection of electronic physical evidence' aren't scientific, so their intensions need to be strictly defined. The inspection and authentication of electronic evidence have unique methods and targets, and it also forms its own system which differs from traditional evidence inspection of physical evidence.
