上海经济的发展离不开全国尤其是长三角地区的支持,长三角地区的雄厚实力和良好发展势头为加快推进区域合作、促进上海经济发展奠定了坚实基础。上海要立足全局,拓宽视野,在“融”字上下功夫,把“融入全国、服务全国”提到战略高度,以合作交流工作为重要抓手,学兄弟省市之长,补上海之短,创上海之新。

The development of Shanghai's economy can't stand apart from support of whole country, especially of Yangtze river delta region. The ample strength and good developing impetus of Yangtze river delta region lay a solid foundation for the development of Shanghai's economy. It's necessary for Shanghai to have a foothold in the overall situation, to expand field of vision, and to concentrate its efforts on 'malgam-ation' which means raising the policy of 'merger into the whole country and serving the whole country' up to a strategic high level.
