远程过程调用是网络高层的一种通信机制.它的实现使得在一个计算机上运行的用户调用网络系统中其它机器上的过程如同使用本地过程调用一样方便。本文着重阐述远程过程调用的基本模式及其在UNIX系统中的实现。＊

Remote Procedure Call(RPC) is a high-level communication paradigm which allows network appli-cation to be developed by way of specialized procedure calls designed to hide the details of the underlying net-working mechanism.RPC fulfills a logical client-to-server communications system.With RPC, the client makes calling of procedures on other remote machines in the network system as conveniently as local procedure calls.In this thesis , we expound the fundamental model of RPC and its implementation in UNIX environment.
