According to the application area ,this paper presents the new classification defini-tion of the computer ,the embedded computer and general-purpose computer ;summarizes the features of the embedded system and its exploitation ,generalizes the development and actu-ality of the embedded processor.The Real-Time Multitask Operating system ( RTMOS ) has become the hotspot of the embedded system ;this paper also discusses the RTMOS and the relation to the embedded explo itation in detail.
