THE SOFTWARE SYSTEM FOR γ RAY NONDESTRUCTIVE MONITORING AND TROUBLESHOOTING OF DISTILLATION COLUMNS

摘要 本文在IBM PC/XT个人微型计算机上,开发了γ射线对塔设备体外不停工监测的软件系统,实现了γ射线对塔设备体外不停工监测过程的控制、数据采集和数据处理、绘图。本文着重介绍了该系统的结构与性能。本文所涉及的技术内容经实验验证是切实可行的,该系统的开发成功为将γ射线体外不停工监测技术运用于工业实践提供了基础。 In present paper, an integrated software system for the γ ray nondestructive monitoring and troubleshooting of both trayed and packed distillation columns was realized on the IBM PC/XT personal computer. The software system consists of the controlling and sampling program, the data processing program, and the plotting program. With the support of the controlling and sampling program, the hardware system can automatically perform axial elevating and locating, one-way or return scanning, empty and full column reading calibration. The Chinese character menu driven user interface made the operation easy and convenient. The sampled data were stored in binary data files and could be further processed by the data processing program to output the position-pulse data files or the position-density data files, which were served as the input of the plotting program. The plotting program Grapher developed by Golden Software Inc. has been employed to process the scanning data and thus the position-pulse curves or the position-density curves could be produced. These curves make it possible to analyse the hydrodynamic behavior and malfunction of distillation column in operation. The success of the software system stated above has been evaluated on a bench-scale trayed distillation column and a bench-scale packed distillation column. This would provide a basis for further industrial application of the γ ray scanning technique.
